Meet your board

About Christina: This is Christina’s 5th year at Clague. She has two daughters at Skyline and a 7th grade daughter at Clague. She is a fierce supporter of Ann Arbor Public schools and has been active in PTSOs in the district since 2016.  Christina has a passion for bringing people together to collaborate by focusing time, effort and  resources towards a common good that will make lasting change, imprrovement and impact. She believes that diversity of thought is imperative and welcomes all ideas and suggestions from the Clague community of parents, teachers and students. The President's Duties: Lead the executive board, run general meetings, and is the main point of contact with school administration.

About Ruth: Ruth is the parent of a 7th grader and a 4th grader. She joined the PTSO  in order to support our wonderful teachers and students, to connect with other families, and to help create a positive and welcoming community experience for all. In addition to volunteering with the PTSO, Ruth coaches the Academic Games team and is involved in several other local organizations. She is looking forward to getting to know more of you and working together to support Clague Middle School! The Vice President's Duties: Support the president, coordinate committees, and help match volunteers to the right opportunity.

About Christy: Christy is the mom of a 7th grader and is excited to serve as PTSO Secretary this year. She got involved because she believes a strong PTSO should be open, transparent, and welcoming to everyone. She’s passionate about making it easier for families to know what’s happening, understand how the PTSO is supporting our school, share their ideas, and have a voice in the Clague community. Outside of Clague, Christy works in the travel industry, enjoys musicals, cooking, gardening, and is almost always planning or organizing something. If you see her around Clague, please come say hi! The Secretary's Duties: Keep meeting minutes, maintain records, and publish what was decided after every meeting.

About Suki: Suki is the parent of an 8th grader and is serving her second year as the PTSO Treasurer. In this role, she is committed to maintaining clear, organized, and transparent financial records, supporting meaningful programs, and helping families understand how PTSO resources benefit students, staff, and the Clague community. In addition, Suki is a board member of Clague’s Science Olympiad team. She also frequently takes part in various school and community events and enjoys contributing wherever she can. Suki values connection. She hopes more families will feel comfortable getting involved and becoming part of the Clague community. The Treasurer's Duties: Manage the budget, track every dollar in and out, and report finances at each general meeting.
