Goals & principles
When making decisions, we use these goals as our guiding principles. They help us prioritize our time, efforts, and financial support throughout the year.
Every year, goals should be revisited and revised by the PTSO board — but rooted in feedback from the Clague community of teachers, parents, and students, not in isolation.
Grow PTSO involvement
- Add more committee positions that allow others to get involved
- Set meeting dates, times, and locations that allow for maximum participation
- Clear, concise, consistent communications
Develop turn-key fundraising programs
Reduce dependency on requesting donations all year long
- Annual dues and donations
- 1 large annual event (Dance-a-thon)
- Shopper programs (Kroger, Busch's)
- PTSO Thrift Shop
- Local business sponsors
Create a strong Clague community and school pride
