Attend a general meeting

Open to every Clague family. Hear the budget, ask administration questions directly, and vote on spending.

~2 hours a month

Fundraising, events, staff appreciation, or communications. Committees do the planning; you don't have to be on the board.

One 2-hour shift

The lowest-commitment way to help. Show up, do one job, go home. Shifts are posted on each grade page.

Constructive feedback shapes what we fund. Email the board or raise it at a meeting — both are read.

Fundraising CommitteePlans and runs fundraising campaigns and events that support school programs, supplies, and special projects. Members help set goals, coordinate logistics, and spread the word to families.
Beautification CommitteeKeeps Clague's campus welcoming and well-maintained, from garden upkeep to seasonal decorating and small improvement projects around the building.
Volunteer CoordinatorRecruits and organizes parent volunteers for PTSO events and school needs, matching people to opportunities and keeping communication flowing between volunteers and event leads.
Hospitality CoordinatorOrganizes food, refreshments, and welcoming touches for PTSO meetings, staff appreciation events, and school gatherings — helping every event feel warm and well-hosted.
Social EventsPlans community-building events for students and families, like family nights and seasonal celebrations, that bring the Clague community together.
Grade Level Parent Representative (6th, 7th & 8th)One representative per grade serves as a link between families in that grade and the PTSO Board, sharing grade-specific updates and helping connect parents within their student's grade level.
Assemblies and Student EnrichmentCoordinates assemblies and enrichment programs brought in for Clague students throughout the year, working with the school to schedule presenters and activities that support student learning outside the regular classroom.

7th Grade Book Bowl — Ms. McClean is in need of adult volunteers to coach our 7th grade Book Bowl teams! She wasn't sure if she would host one again this year, but once she promoted it she had 32 students sign up! This means 4 teams of 8 students each, so she will need 4 coaches. The time commitment is one day a week (the day of your choosing) during advisory time (8:15–8:40) from the week of October 5th through December 7th. All materials will be provided for the adult to coach the team and run the weekly discussion meetings. The only outside ask is that they read the three books as part of the Book Bowl.
